How it Works

Patented Alloys

White Horse Technology uses patented alloys, CuNia and RotoGlide, to mitigate wear and friction when running casing and drill pipe.

Twin Wire Arc Spray (TWAS)

Twin Wire Arc Spray (TWAS) is a pipe and casing friendly process of applying material to drill pipe when welding is not an option.

Application Process

Twin Arc Spray (TWAS) works by feeding two wires of our patented metallurgical alloy into a gun where they cross, initiating an electrical arc. As the metal is melted, clean compressed air is channeled which propels the atomized droplets onto a clean profiled substrate. On contact with the pipe (at temperatures not exceeding 300 deg Fahrenheit) the droplets cool and bond with each other.

Extensively Tested

Our alloys undergo extensive testing for wear, friction, corrosion, adherence and holding force.
